Blindness

A self portrait, also the origional, of myself when I was younger, with a darker steampunk twist. The loss of eyes was meant to show I was a kid who didn't know who I was and the peeling of my face helps represent something new, something that can only be found from underneath. The half steampunk flower is meant to represent beauty and its immortality that beauty will never go away depending on whether you see it there or not. 

This is one of my favorites because I'm more tied to my childhood through it.
